Onesies in the Mountains

We bought this onesie today while we were in Canmore for New Years. A little break from our family over the holidays. We are hoping it brings us good luck and can't wait to take a photo of our baby in it!

Snowflake Tattoo in Vegas

Mike got this tattoo today while we are in Vegas. It is a culmination of two concepts we both put together. There isn't a single line, it's all just tiny dots. I asked him if he was sure he wanted to because it could mean he would have to explain the meaning behind it. He will make up funny jokes like "my wife is a snowflake princess" or something like that. I also asked him if he was sure that he wanted to get it in case our donor FET's don't work. Then it would be a constant reminder of that pain. He says it's more about our journey and how close it has made us in our marriage. It's also meant to be a positive omen. One to look at for hope and to affirm that this is going to work!

Miracle Visualization Onesie

I had our friend Nicole make this for us. I designed it and she put it on the onesie. It only took her 15 minutes! It's our visualization onesie and we will get it next week when we meet them in Vegas!!!

Snowflakes and Disney World

We found the perfect ornament for our miss match tree this year. ❄❄❄ And Mike gave me this snowflake necklace from Pandora. He said he spent quite a while shopping to find the right one. Let's hope it's a good luck charm.

First Visit to Tampa Clinic

This afternoon was our intake appointment with Reproductive Medicine Group. We drove an hour from Orlando to Tampa. It went well. The tests came back normal. I had to do a SIS. No polyps, fibroids, cysts. They actually did a mock transfer where they measure the size of catheter to use and the length to the cervix. Probably because any Dr can be doing the transfer depending on what day of the week they are working. This way they have a roadmap The Dr and staff are very nice. The clinic is a bit run down. Old gold frames with gaudy flowers in them. Bad floral furniture. Dr said since we are not using our own embryos she doesn't think my endo should be an issue. Doesn't recommend PGS testing. Could do more harm than good. The embryos are: 3 BB's. 2 are full blasts (day 5) and 1 is hatching (also day 5 but advanced). There is 1 BC that is full as well. (Day 5) She is on board with us only transferring 1. Since the donor has had good success.

All aboard and here we go!

Another leg of our infertility journey begins today. I am on my way to Orlando Florida to meet up with M. Tomorrow we drive to Tampa for our intake appointment with the fertility clinic. Then we spend the rest of the weekend at Disney World! There's a boy beside me on the flight. Probably about 8 yrs old. His mom is one row and and one aisle over from us. He's in the middle seat. His brother is next to him. He has a loose tooth. And the first thing he does is ask for a napkin from the stewardess. It the next thing he wants is his mom. I can't wait for the day when a child needs to tell me his tooth is loose. Just the way he said 'mooooohm'. It was very cute.

Tired... Oh so Tired

I felt proud of all the work I did the past few days. Monday was a very rough start. I just woke up feeling lost and in despair again. All I wanted to do was sit in bed and binge watch a mindless TV show. But I trudged on. I gave up peeing on ovulation sticks this morning. It seems I have missed my window. I can tell by the CM that I likely ovulated 5 days ago. So it hit me yesterday that I have to go and see a naturopath to get my cycle regular. Enough of this! My cycle average is 40 days. That's just crazy. And it has been everything from 28 - 46 days in the past 6 months. So it is time to seek other help. So today I'm grateful for: - making an appointment with the Naturopath - connecting with my bookkeepr - getting this week's groceries - going to the gym last night - making it to support group on Monday night - going to my first singing group on Monday
